Michaela's Blog: Glamour Gowns

Have to mention this event I am working on with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).
Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th from 10 to 2, we are giving away prom dresses to girls in foster homes and in residential care.
It's really an amazing event - I think we are in our 6th year.
We are really doing well on donations and volunteers, (but can always use more!)
What we really need is to get word out about the event to foster families and group homes.
This event is open to all high school aged girls in dependency care in Los Angeles. You MUST RSVP for this event (just so we can have a better handle on the flow)
Call 323-526-6329 asap if you know a girl that should be at our event or if you would like more information.
We hold it downtown at the LA Convention Center.

Will you need any balloon decoration for the prom event? We will provide decorations at a sizeable discount. When is the event?
Please advise accordingly.

I copied your blog and sent it to everyone in LA that I could think of. Do you need volunteers to help out that day. This is such a wonderful idea.
