Best Fish Taco In Ensenada - Los Feliz

Simplicity and affordability are the mainstays of this small taco joint in the Los Feliz area. I've never been to Ensenada so I can't make any assumptions about the "authenticity" of the food, all I know is the food is cheap and good! 1.50 for a fish taco, 2 bux for a shrimp taco, 1 dollar for drinks. Food is made to order sometimes the guy (a little strange) won't let you order more than 1 or 2 at a time, and won't take your money until you are done eating; like they do at some taco stands on the streets in eastlos. You order, you sit down, you eat, you order more, then you pay when you leave. He has a good reason, because tacos tend to fall apart if they are on your plate for too long, so ordering 1 or 2 at a time is optimal. Most of the time though, they take the money up front. The various salsas and hot sauces are homemade and great! There are mild options but the spicy ones are loaded and not for the meek. The fish and shrimp is freshly cooked with a light batter coating. I know some like their fish/shrimp tacos grilled; but not at this place. A great place to check out for a cheap bite or snack.

I've been to the Senor Fish on Eagle Rock. Glorious!!! I live close to the one in Little Tokyo... still really good, but not as good as the one on Eagle Rock. I always go for the shrimp and scallop burrito or the fish burrito....
