D-Town Burger Bar - Downtown Los Angeles

Double Turkey With Cheese. Yes.
Single Beef. No.
French Fries and Sweet Potato Fries.
If you haven't been aware, Downtown Los Angeles is blowing up, literally. Crazy artwalks, galleries, new restaurants and bars popping up, and their very own burger joint. It is right around the corner from where I live so I walked in when it opened and was disappointed with their burgers. Yes they were fresh patties cooked to order but they are pretty small patties. I was disappointed. The fries are cooked to order and are a mix of potato and sweet potato; they are very good and fried just right. Not too crispy, not too soft.
I returned to the burger bar, maybe out of necessity and saw they started serving turkey burgers. I tried them out, and they are awesome. Fresh turkey patties cooked to order with cheese. A world of difference from their beef burgers. The turkey definitely outshines the beef. Not only is everything cooked to order, but you can make requests like, no salt. Which is how I like my patties cooked, just the pure meat flavor; no seasoned salt. They also make the fries without salt so you can have a pretty low-sodium restaurant meal. The Burger Bar is open fairly late, at least 11pm on weekdays and at least until 3am thursday through saturday which is helpful for those long nights.
No beer though, unfortunately.
