Some blogs have been reporting rumors that Sheriff Leroy Baca is divorcing his wife Carol.  Here's the record from the L.A. Superior Court.  It indicates that the Sheriff did file for divorce in December of 2005.  Then, in February of 2006, he changed his mind and had the case dismissed.

I tried calling his lawyer, Leslie Furukawa.  She would not comment.
