Chief Bratton Lashes Out at Reporter

10:46 AM  March 6, 2008

In case you missed it...

LAPD top cop Bill Bratton gave a tongue-lashing to a reporter at a news conference.   The Chief was angry about insinuations that racial tension is leading to more violence in the city...  He specifically rejected the claim that the shooting of a 6-year-old boy in South L.A. was racially motivated.

Bratton gave a good minute-long lecture to KABC reporter Leo Stallworth.

its amazing how a scum bag politician chasing hookers can get more coverage than a kid being murdered by a criminaal let out of jail the day before, the whole system has gone to hell . The politician should be imprisoned for life for using tax money for private specialpleasures. And death role should start being emptied out. enough with the appeals one appeal per ptisoner . People shouldnt have to pay taxes to feed some scum for killing their loved ones.

For Chief of police Mr Bratton,
As chief of the land of los angeles fine police men and woman you should be doing your role 200 % more its obvious your crossing into other profession when you showed your frustration on a reporter who's doing his or her job and asking for the public a question and he is my spokesman now you have shown your aggression put on your booths and police the streets physically walk the streets show who's the Chief of LA you will serve the community better talk to this people I respect your tenure and experience turn the pyramid up side down down in the trench gets lot of respect

Bratton didn't only lash out at the reporter, he included the organization the reporter represents. A line has been drawn. If they don't get the message perhaps he'll ignore their questions in the future. Good for him!
