Vote For Your Favorite Skirt
10:18 AM April 3, 2008
In case you missed it, the guys here on the AM News all wore kilts today to raise money for a charity. Who carried it off the best?
A company that makes Scotch agreed to pay $1000 for every on-air male who wore a kilt, with the money to be donated to Direct Relief International, a charity that sets up medical clinics in various countries. I believe we raised a grand total of $20,000.

Eric,
I love ya but I have to cast my vote for Mr. Mark Kriski. Hey by the way, your legs are skinnier then Mark's:) Love the show. BRING BACK THE GUYS TO THE 9AM morning show! I miss all of you.
MY VOTE IS FOR MARK for best skirt:)
You guys all looked AWESOME!

Oh, I forgot to vote. If it were a beauty contest I think smiling has a lot to do with who to pick. Mark really seemed to be enjoying the morning best so I'd have to pick him.

Congratulations on the money you all raised. You all looked great, handsome, ooh those legs!..but I am a fan of the one person that many people hardly ever mention, one who makes me laugh every time he is on camera, very creative, funny, resourceful. Who might that be? None other then Warren or better known as The Baron. I vote for Warren. If Neil Levine was still there, I would be torn between him and Warren. Please do this again..it was a hoot.
Love ya Eric..keep rockin'.

Dude, Sam Rubin has my vote! The picture with him and that woman looking "disgusted" is absolutely priceless!

Though Eric came in 2nd, the #1 choice for me was the guy naked from the waist up....A manly man and HOT! He looks like a mountain man ready to chop wood.

Eric:
I have to say all you guys did a great job a wearing of the kilt.
If I had to pick it would be a tie between you and Mark.
I didn't get to see the end because I turn you guys off at 9:00. You new format makes me ill.
Tell Sam and Mark that indeed utilikilts are very cool. They are the only kilts with pockets. They have a booth at the Ventura Highland games every year.

Hey Mark, utilikilts usually has a booth at all the local Gay Pride Festivals too. Their website lists some of the Pride Festivals they're scheduled to be at. They're usually at Long Beach Pride and LA Pride! You can even try them on there too!

Good for all the guys that dared to wear the "kilt"...

Jozielee, they did show Emmitt and Frank as well as Bill King. Sorry you missed them.
I was a little worried the way Mark was laughing and carrying on. I had to turn the TV off at 8:00 because I was afraid the guys were going to "moon" the television audience like in "Braveheart." Anything for a well deserved charity is applauded. Thank You.

You guys all look great, Im sorry I missed it. Of all the mornings to go to worl early. What charity were you raising money for?
Posted by: heather | April 03, 2008 at 05:03 PM
No picture of Emmitt Miller, with a purse slung over his shoulder, or Frank Buckley with a golf ball.
