Begging for a Thanksgiving Invite

6:43 AM  November 25, 2008

Turkey

It's time once again for an annual KTLA tradition.

Early Thanksgiving morning, we'll be driving around Southern California visiting people in their kitchens as they prepare for the holiday.

If you'd like to be a part of this, I need your name, address, and phone number.   Email me at espillman@tribune.com, and who knows, we may barge into your home sometime between 5 and 10 AM on Thursday.

Thank you Eric for coming to our home on Thanksgiving Morning, you and your crew were extremley wonderful, considerate & warm. You are such a sweet person, you have a wonderful personality & you are a asset to the morning show! Wow, we will always remember you in our home. I think you are the greatest & I love to watch you in the morning. Thanks for making our day so special! Anytime you want a meatball, let me know.
Thanks! Gina & John Reynolds / Glendora !

I have been watching the KTLA morning show for 15 years and I have seen alot of reporters come and go but my all time favorite is Thanksgiving morning with Eric visiting homes preparing for Thanksgiving. I look forward to this every year. Its tradition for my family....right up there with the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade

To Eric, Frank, Marco and Sam and all the bloggers here.
Hope you all have a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving Eric!

Thanks for putting in the holiday hours!

We'll be watching you cook that bird!

Gobble~Gobble!!

Good luck Eric. I always used to volunteer to work Thanksgiving and Christmas. Those newsroom slackers who take the holidays off have no idea what they're missing.

If he wants to drive up to Oak View, we could share some food and beverage. Reporters who work holidays must be fed.

I WISH HE WAS NEVER IN MY HOME. I WOUKD HOPE HE WOULD GET REPLACED,
HE IS RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. HE HAS AN EGO THAT IS JUST ANNOYING.
KTLA WOULD BE MUCH BETTER WITH OUT YOU

Thanksgiving is truly not Thanksgiving without Eric at the airport on Wednesday and "on the front lines" of kitchen prep on Thanksgiving morning.

I almost wish we started getting ready that early to invite Eric over. Hasn't anyone heard of the 2-hour turkey? :)

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Happy Thanksgiving!
