When American Idol receives 64million voter calls in a 7hour block of time that's impressive. So when Sen. Feinstein receives 91,000 calls out of a possible 36million she's not bound to vote by what the 84,000 suggest. Ever heard of robo-dialing? A majority of those calls could have come from a single organization.

jozielee;
But none of the bailout money made it to main street nor did come here, it went to wall street and AIG..
91,000 calls is a lot when you figure not everyone will call..
and based on 1 call is considered 100 calls which has been the addage of most PAC groups and the reasons they man/woman the phones when it comes to calling public servants....
Banking regulators are stopping up loans from the banks... Banks ARE NOT loaning..
And it is the FED who are the banking regulators..

Jared:
There are 36million people living in California. 91,000 votes are a small representation comparably. Even if Feinstein received 85,000 votes against the package, think about the remaining millions who didn't write but thought the stimulus package was a good idea. Even though the package didn't jump start the economy like Paulson predicted, those few dollars might have carried a few families though a couple of months' purchases of food, gas or a mortgage payment.

I will say that the republican group got the nicer park because they were able to secure a permit because they had more money behind then because they were kind of funded by the republican party...
Oh i forgot we also talked about NO income taxes...

Ours was more of a libertarian/democrat group as opposed to a republican group. All though there were a few republicans around.. But our groups doesn't see things as political parties our left right we see things as Americans..
The simi valley more republican tea party was at another park next to the town center and city hall on the other side of the valley...
We had a speaker from IVAW speak a radio DJ from Orange county and myself..
Ours wasn't about immigration, the troops and more war, the anti-government.. IT was more about banking reform, the Constitution, limted government, end the war and bring the troops home from all around the world we don't need to be the worlds policeman, sound money and recalling Dianne Feinstein because she received 91,000 calls about the Bail Out Bill 85,000 against it, yet she still voted for it because she said it would be good for California. Here she is telling the story on the floor of the Senate.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZFwRAfkV1g
I was asked to speak at the last min.. Because i am the Local Coordinator of the 24th Cal. Congressional District for The Campaign for Liberty a PAC started by Dr. Ron Paul after he withdrew from the horse race for Pres.
that is it kind of in a nut shell....

Hey webmaster if you are going to remove posts, you should remove all posts that have nothing to do with the subject of that blog. This should not be a soapbox for one person's political agenda. Fair is fair dude.

Jared: Your group of 250, did they know what the tea party was about or were they as scattered as Joe the Plumber, who attended a party to complain about immigration, the troops, the government, how long he's been reading a newspaper? BTW, he says he's a plumber and has taught other plumbers but he's not licensed? Didn't his 15 minutes expire on Nov 4th?
JOE, in his own words

"How was the turn out for the tea party?"
We weren't expecting many on a holiday where most people would spend with their families..
But we had about 250 people there

Our 4th started out with attending a flag raising ceremony..
Saying the pledge of allegiance, and singing the The Star-Spangled Banner and other patriotic song..
then we attended a tea party at the Rancho Simi Park from 10 am to 1 pm of which i spoke at about the Federal Reserve Banking system and the importance of supporting HR 1207 to audit the Federal Reserve..
Then we went home to prepare for the families to come over to our home..
When they arrive we had a prayer of thanksgiving we had a great dinner with the families and afterwards we played games and then we had a moment for each to say what they felt about their faith in God and how they were thankful for life. It was good to hear them say how even though they were homeless they still continued their faith..
Then we set up chairs in our back yard and watched the big firework display the City of Simi Valley put on...
All in all it was a great day...

Very busy 4th of July, Jared. Sounds like lots of work and fun. Can't wait for next year.
How was the turn out for the tea party?
Posted by: jozielee | July 08, 2009 at 08:16 AM
LOL, Jared. We did. We had a great 4th of July watching a tiny, sweet boy sleep through a symphony of fireworks that surround our community plus a mass of illegal cherry bombs. Nobody got hurt. No fires set so we're safe for another year. He woke up after the final blast of works. Fireworks will return next year.
How was your 4th? Tea partying? :o)
Yeah, that was a great song. Always loved the Jesus Christ Superstar and Hair music.

Jared, wow, how are you?
Posted by: jozielee | July 06, 2009 at 09:46 AM
Hi everyone,
Hope everyone had a safe and joyful fourth. I don't want to get into the politics or the Michael Jackson debates that have filled the blogs of late. But if you want to talk about films or TV shows, I will be happy to join you.
Till then, take care.

Jozielee - Yeah, thanks for the link I do not read VF, but I heard several discussions about the article on the radio. In any case, today is a Wonderful day that we all should be celebrating as we enjoy our Freedoms and especially the one we all display here - The Freedom of Speech (or written word.) Let's all back away from the computer today and enjoy our weekend. HAPPY 4th everyone.

Eric - Was he telling you what question to ask him at his next town hall meeting? Oh wait, I didn't see a teleprompter so he wouldn't know what to say....
Anyway, thank you to our Founding Fathers who had the courage to declare their Independance which helped create this wonderful Nation we live in. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!!!

Hey Eric,
It's the Fourth of July, not April Fool's Day! Happy Fourth! ;)

What better way to celebrate the Birth of our Country on the 4th of July than with Sarah Palin resigning as Governor of Alaska. Some think she's doing it to run for POTUS in 2012, now how many people would consider voting for a candidate that couldn't finish her first term as Governor of her state?
If she can't handle the media and the criticism as Governor, how does she even think she could be qualified as POTUS!

SO Eric Did you ask the President about his campaign promises he made which he hasn't kept now that he is president or did you keep your quite?...
