Triple threat Thurs for the 710

7:30 AM  February 4, 2010
The 710 N is rough with 3 separate crashes all clearing to the right shoulder.  The first is before the 405, then at Del Amo (2 Left still blocked) and up ahead at Firestone.  So expect the busy ride to start out of downtown Long Beach and stays slow into Commerce.

The 105

6:30 AM  February 4, 2010

It's still a slow ride on the 105 W at Long Beach Blvd.  The carpool and left lanes are blocked with a serious crash invovling 3 cars.  Someone was injured in the crash and it's a mess from before the Garfield.  I'd take the 91, Imperial Highway, or El Segundo Blvd to the South as the alternates.

5:47 AM  February 3, 2010
We have a bad crash on the 10 W at New Ave. An LAPD motor officer was involved in a crash and now both carpool lanes are blocked on the 10. The drive is backed up from before Santa Anita. At this hour, I'd take the 60. Drivers can also take Valley or Garvey, they're parallel to this portion of the 10 and will help. I wouldn't go the long way all the way up to the 10. It's too far.

Lanes open!

7:15 AM  February 2, 2010
The sigalert has just been lifted on the 5 S to the 605N/S.  Traffic's still bad, but at least lanes are open!

7:03 AM  February 2, 2010
The horrible ride on the 5 N starts before Valley View in la Mirada. I'd exit at Valley View, go N to Telegraph Rd, take that W to Lakewood/Rosemead and then back to the 5. This is a lenghty alternate so give yourself about 20 more extra minutes. Drivers can also take the 91W to the 605 N/S or to the 605N to the 5N. The connectors will be tough but so will the streets.
